    He's always been a villain in the comics. Why would Marvel suddenly deviate from the source material for a game?

    Abilities and true to comic cannon strength/power are really about the only things that don't match but abilities are subjective. Champ origins haven't been changed.

    From what I know, they are being forced to do Thanos' bidding. Therefore not true villians.

    Mysterio is and always has been about deception and sinister motives. Kevin Smith cemented his villain status in his amazing 'Guardian Devil' storyline in Daredevil.

    Pretty sure the hint it that Mysterio in game is labeled #villian. Blade and Rider synergy allows Blade to eat Mysterio alive

    Remember when Danger Sense worked on The Champion? A quick magical update came out, and poof, it was gone.
