Switched from iPhone to Galaxy S10+ Login Issues (Google play)

I recently switched from an iphone to a Galaxy s10+. Since switching I basically have to login twice each time I want to play the game. I've tried everything, nothing seems to work. (Yes... I've tried all the "solutions" listed in the forums, none of them work)

When I initially launch the game, I'm asked if I want to login with my google play account or another google play account. I select the saved account. This logs me into the "base" game - no specific account - there is no summoner name, nothing.

To get to one of my two accounts, I have to click into settings, click "login options" then select "sign in with Kabam" this then logs me into which ever account I was most recently playing.

Is this an Android thing? There doesn't appear to be any settings within Google Play that allow me to set the link, the "automatic sync" that is talked about in the forums does not work...

Its really annoying ... please tell me there is something stupid that I'm missing.
