Groot's Third Light Attack

Recently Groot's 3rd light attack has been whiffing. It has been ruining combos, and leaves the enemy open to hit him.
I'm not sure if this bug is because of my device, or if it's the app itself though, since a while back Star Lord used to have the same problem
