Update = arena sandbagging finished ? ✅

Since the update sandbagging in the arena doesn't work anymore. Or is it just me ? The game either sandbags me back or throws some crazy numbers to fight against. Tbh I like it it's puts it on a level playing field and depends upon skill and not how many champions you have on your roster.

that's not true ... end gamers will still breeze through easy because they're rosters are stacked enough ..
but the mid gamers, without stacked rosters, that *need* to sandbag to get through .. are going to get the shaft ..

Hope this isn't true, though .. *sigh*

I'm afraid it is true ...at least from my experience since Tuesday anyway...but I disagree with mid gamers needing to sandbag.... put 3 3*s in a match up together in the 4* arena and you'll still be able to retain your win streak as long as you have a mid level amount of skill, were as before the death matches would take you out anywhere from match 7 to 15 I haven't found that to be the case...I would be lying if I said they were all easy matchups but nothing that I would of consider to be the death match of old.

It's been ages since I have tried to sandbag so can't say if it still works. If it doesn't, use ranked champs and wait for refresh if you need to to get through 11-14 or else use good power control champs.

What are you sandbagging with, and when? Been working for me. 11-15 use two R4 4*s/R2 5*s, and one lowest Champ.

Sandbagging for the basic 4* was working for me and sandbagging for the featured 4* also worked. Ran into a couple of hard matchups in fights 14-15 for featured but not exactly death matches.
I use max 3* for basic and use rank1 5* or 3/30’s for featured

Don't mean to sound stupid, but what's sandbagging? I might know what it means but not the term.

@Skillful_star don't worry about sounding stupid, many people have that same question. It is basically when you have an arena team with 2 good champions and 1 low ranked one. E.g. 4/55 starky, 4/55 venom and a 1/10 rhino. This means that your teams total rating is lower than usual, so instead of facing like 5/65 domino, 5/65 hyperion and 5/65 medusa, you will instead face a team of 4/55 and/or 3/45 depending on when you are in the streak. At about 16-17 you can play normally with your best champs again. Hope this helps.

This means that you don't lose your streak and don't have to rebuild up your multiplyer^
