IMIW special 1 against Ant-man

Since there are many fights against 200 sig ant-man in story quests I’ve had enough chances to notice something about IMIW’s special1: even if only the last hit is glanced, the shock is not applied on him. i.e. that even if the first energy projectile fully hits, the “100% chance to leave opponents shocked” fails to apply when the 2nd projectile is glanced.

Is this the intended case?

    IT IS the last hit that causes shock. If glanced, no shock is triggered due to ability accuracy reduction
