Question for alliance war rewards - please help

Hello everyone, I am 8n an alliance which opens two war groups instead of 3 although we are 25 members. Some members never participate in wars during season because they are too weak. Will they get the rewards when the season ends even if they don't actually fight in the war groups but nevertheless stay in the alliance for the whole season duration?

    I believe you have to participate in the wars, not 100%.

    They have the participate in 5 wars during the season in order to get rewards.
