I just wished they gave more Champions Unique Nodes instead of Just Sentinel, like in Varient 2 we had the 3 Nodes that Boosted All XL Champions (XLs being the "main focus" of V2 like Techs are in V3) which also we have in Varient 3 for All Techs. But in Varient 2 we got Unique Boost Nodes for several XL Champions spread across the Quests instead of just One... This is where I think V3 fell short, it was fun bringing out the lesser used Groot and King Groot in their Quest and dominating with all that Poison. With V3 it just feels like you're going to have a harder/less fun time if you don't have Sentinel (or Ghost), which is already a very good Champion(s) that is used a lot compared to (from the previous example) say OG Iron Man and Iron Patriot which they could've given a Boost Node to give you a chance to actually use them.
Out of all the rewards for Variant, the five star crystal was the one you were most hyped about? I mean... to each there own, but I barely even noticed them. Did you see all the rank up gems? They’re pretty good.

Unfortunately you need to wait until your tech roster can handle the content. I wouldn't want to mess with the power gain and all or nothing lanes without my R5 Ghost. Tanked so many sp3's it's crazy. A R4 Sentinel can do some work in this too.

Yes. I'm a level 60 Cavalier with 2 R5s but RNG still hasnt blessed me a good 5 star tech. All i have is a Yondu OG Ironman Nebula and unduped Starlord.
Is it possible to do this variant with a 4 star cause i dont have any good 5 star tech champs. The only good tech is unawaken darkhawk
I did some of it with 4* starlord (for path clears) and 4* imiw (for Kang) Overall my team was 4 R5 magik R5 hyperion 4* starlord 5* r3 sentinel 5* r3 yondu

Yes you can do it without techs. Just use boosts and take a less stressful path if you're going for completion If you're using 4*, use high damage 4* champs

I used magik and voodoo for the aon path in 3.2 The power shield node really helps s lot
Completed variant over the weekend. Very awesome rewards. Can' t wait until variant 4, hopefully they add 2017 to the awakening gems!
Yea with the lack of tech 2016 champs and all the 2015 gems already around V4 being 15/16 again doesnt seem too workable.
Yeah 2016 added a small batch of champions. It has been great rankups for my arena fodder though so I can't complain. 2017 has some really good champions so the additions would be awesome!.
