What is the deal with Symbiote Supreme's parry timing?!?!

Been playing this game for 3-4 years (so its easy to tell when something like this is off) and recently got him as a 3* on my second account and the parry thing is driving me nuts.

Is it a known issue or just me? I don't have any issues with my other champs. I really wanna use him but its infuriating me.

Haha anyone else have the issue too?
