Cosmic Awakening Gem use

Have a Medusa at 3/45 and just pulled annihilus.

I know about Medusas’ abilities but is Annihilus worth the gem as well?

Annihilus is immune to everything except bleed I believe and he doesn't need to be awakened for that. Medusa all the way.
