He would actually be pretty damn good if he had a little more to him. He hits hard enough, especially on his l2 and its a gauranteed crit which is imo his best feature, he also crits a hell of a lot, simple to play just parry/heavy or heavy counter their heavy and then work your way up to sp2. When duped gets an annoying evade after specials. If they gave him something on his l1 and l3 and changed it so he wont evade when youre blocking he would be great but as it is hes not the worst and is fun to play.

Apply some armor breaks on your opponent and hit them with your SP2... quite satisfying. He's not the best champ out there, obviously, but not the worst either.

It's just your first 5* out of many more.

That's a pretty good pull for your first 5*. Theres definitely many more worse champs out there.

Yes, it’s obvious that there are a lot better than him, but there also a lot way worse than him. I’m sure he can serve a purpose as their first 5*

Needs to be duped for that of course. OP, he's a solid champ. Armor breaks all day and good damage. Eventually you won't use him much as your team gets better options, but he can help you in the meantime.

Used the 4* version (3/30) against act 4 Maestro with regen on: parry, heavy, build up armour breaks, sp 2> bye Maestro.
Same went for Kang when we was AQ-boss a couple of seasons ago, though he did have that reduced parry thingie iirc.

He was my first 5* to 4/55 and was hugely helpful for a long time. Others have already told you how to play him (build up those armor breaks and crush an SP2). He is a useful champ for you, so give him a chance.

He lacks utility but does hit fairly hard. Seeing as he's your first 5 star, you're probably at the stage where hitting hard in useful enough for a rank up. Take him to R2 but I'd save any Cosmic T4CC for someone better

Since this is your 1st 5*, if you don’t have 2nd or afterwards now, then I’d say “no need to think about whether the champ is good or not, just play him more”
