Warlock’s infection and it’s interaction with Emma Frost reveresed controls

I was lucky enough to get a 6* warlock and have been using him a lot in Variant 1.
I was fighting Emma Frost and noticed that, when an infection passive is applied it sometimes overrides reversed controls, making for a very interesting fight.
Warlocks infection is supposed to act on offensive ability accuracy only, reversed controls doesn’t seem offensive. Is this correct?

Anyone else noticed any fun and interactive uses of the infection?

They are offensive for Emma's case

Ok, I wish these things were clearer.
If it’s working as intended then I’m fine with it, it’s just an incredibly annoying interaction!

Ok, since it doesn’t increase her attack and is designed to make the attackers life harder, I assumed it was a defensive ability.
I just thought it was a strange interaction is all.

That would actually suck,. Not knowing if the controls would be reversed or not.
