Advice on the next stage

Hello everyone. I'll lay out where I'm at briefly:
7 x 5/50 4* (all duped) - ultron, sw, Magik, xbones, Thor, x23 and cap ww2.
A r2 duped 5* SL
halfway through act 4 exploration
In a 5x5 AQ ally (pulling 90m per week).

At what point do I stop doing r5 and start saving resources to rank up 5* in future? The SL is a given but surprisingly tech frags/cats are proving hard to come by. No other awakened 5* and not the best champs among my 4/40 4* either.

I ask because I'm sure there are plenty of people that have made similar choices from similar positions. Thanks for your time

Rank up 4* that have good uses in the game such as the ones you have. Also, only so many 5* can get ranked up to rank 4 so save those resources for the best 5*

I only have 4 5* at rank 3 or rank 4. And I have at least 15 4* at 5/50

a lot of 4* have more use than 5* and I'm sure you know what champs those are at your level

I don't think 5* are as much the future as everyone thinks because at most you can have 5 at rank 4

Rank SL 5* before anything else

ranking SL is my priority over everything, unlocks a lot of content for me. I just don't want to 'waste' cats on future redundant champs. That's the worry
