It is a cool failsafe in case you miss a parry or a dodge he will evade , the downside you will loose your all the cruelty buffs

And the fury he generates is not that impressive as the one after the sp3 with 7 cruelties

In my case I’ve had to play with him a lot, and I’m only now starting to like him. He’s definitely not boring, a very “hands on” champ.

I run Suicides so I do ML dash back (take off poison), MLLL dash back, ML dash back (take off bleed, 3 cruelties), then usually go for the high damage one and naturally stack the rest of the cruelties. Maybe not the best way, but that’s how I do it

Also most of the videos I found reviewing him didn't even really play him correctly so there's that lol.

I think when he came out, his AAR was bugged; so didn't seem impressive.

I only have him on my second account, as a 4*; but I gotta say, his animations are sick!

I actually really like the concept of his sig now that I'm finding out how to play him properly, since, as far as I got it, his evade only triggers when he would actually get hit, right?

So it's not the kind of evade that could f you over by triggering unexpected.

Using a generic ag on him would be silly, though, wouldn't it? Been sitting on one for a while now and I don't know who I would really want to use it on since I already have several r5/r2 candidates I'd rank before ranking any of the best generic candidates to r4.

I don’t think you should use the awakening gem, since his gameplay and abilities stay mostly the same. I too have a skill Awakening Gem and was actually debating in using it, but got it dupped and now that I know what the signature ability does I would not recommended it. It’s like an evade at your disposal, since it only activates when you would get hit, not when you block or dodge.

I’ll try to upload some gameplay, I think he has a nice Swiss Army knife utility .

I do recommend the moon knight synergy tho, the fury you get each time you switch stances it’s pretty good , also the one with guillotine/nightcrawler since he bleeds when blocking (like Blade)
