Sentinel not imunne to plasma detonation

So, i used Sentinel against Havok in Time after Time side quest, sufered detonations normally, but after using SP3 and gaining armor up i still got damaged by detonation and killed eventually, i hope this does not mean sentinel is not imunne becouse his armor is passive

    He is not immune, simply because that armor is passive.
    You need an armor up buff in order to avoid damage from plasma detonation
