Backdraft intercept even worse?

So as we all know, they ruined the backdraft intercept by giving the ai a faster recovery if you hit them through block while pinned on the wall. But lately, even if i do a clean MLLL while the ai is on the wall then dash back and do a medium, i still get freakin caught. Anyone experiencing it as well?

What do you mean? Can you explain further? By the way, what i mean with MLLL is medium-light x3. So i always end my 4hit combo with a light attack

Oh I meant when the opponent is against the wall since there is significantly less knockback to the enemy, sometimes you don’t have time to start your mediums hitbox so light attacks can be better because they come out much quicker.

So when they are against a wall
MLLL⬅️LLLMM
Otherwise MLLL⬅️MLLLM works for the most part.
