This has been brought up hundreds of times and has been video confirmed In these forums. a defender in quest surviving an l3 when they were already on 1% with no mastery involved. I often find defenders I’m taking 2-4% off with light hits then hit 1% and take 2 hits to finish. Possibly mastery related, yesterday I punched a 600 pi defender with a m with my 5/65 starky and sure enough from 100 to 1 % in one hit. but something is messed up on the health display overall, I’ve been doing the time paradox events with some 3*s (and I'm not bothering exploring the easier time.after time events) so I send in my 5/65 blade and nearly kill the defender by party bleeding down to.low percentages without accidentally knocking them out. so I can finish with the appropriate 3*. Often if i pause when the defender is displaying 1-2%, I leave the fight to go back in and they are ko . This sometimes happens on higher percentages too like pause on 6 and quit but when I go back in they are on 4%. It's all a bit buggy
I constantly see stacks of DoT run out with 1% left, but I assume it’s just blue car syndrome and I see it because I’m looking for it. Especially when they have 8% and 9 stacks of bleed so I back off and wait for them to bleed out. It happens, whatever.
There needs to be more information to go on. If this happens when you go in for a special or combo at 20-30%, I'd imagine that you're more likely to see them end up at 1% than if you went in at 5%. Especially with an underpowered champ. You can't say definitively that there is or isn't something going on without information.
I see these posts saying it happens everywhere. That doesn't add a truly useful bit of information. There's a huge difference possible in player and opponent stats and abilities in the same content.
Not everyone is into the game so much that they sit an record every time they fight. Doesnt mean it doesnt happen. And wht does tht video u sent prove. Just because you sent a video with a bunch of fights it doesnt happen in.
Recording is done simultaneous to playing the game and takes seconds to start and stop a recording; less time than it does to post on the forums.
The video is a shorter arena rub of something like 40+ consecutive fights showing the 1% thing isn’t common if it exists at all.
I dont have it happen in arenas. Only when I'm in quests. Thts another reason I think theres something. Never happens during my arena fights. Only when I'm trying to get thru quests.
In your quest fights, are you going in with underpowered champs or are you bringing the peak maxed 5 stars? When I recall seeing champs lingering at 1%, it's been mostly in Arena where I'm trying to scrape out a win at the edges of the streak threshold against slightly better champs, and not getting greedy. In quests, I almost never bring in underpowered champs. Same with AQ/AW. They usually match pretty well with the content and I go for the kill later to be sure to finish them.
Are you going in for big specials or pushing through with a basic combo to finish? Your playstyle, masteries, roster, and competition could all be factors. That could be why some people say they never see that and some say they see it all the time.
My team usually consists of 5* r5 domino 6* r1 doc oc 5* r4 OR 5* r4 DV and 6* r1 Sabretooth lately. And as you stated theres so many variables from nodes to masteries. Thts why some ppl see it an some dont. But as someone stated above I've did the same thing with DV in fights. Have 8 or so poisons going an sit back just for it to stop on 1%.
Found the discussion I was referring to, kabam explained it as a mephisto known fault, so I'm not sure, suspicious that it was the 1% again though, wonder if mephisto was fixed

That was a bug where if mephisto's charges didn’t trigger regen due to AAR he would get a cheat death type thing, not sure if it's been fixed or not. So is this the evidence you were talking about that there is a 1% bug?
v21.1 will be available on December 3rd! MEPHISTO: Fixed an issue where Mephisto could survive a killing blow once per fight if Ability Accuracy stopped his Regeneration from triggering.
Haha yeah when I saw that posted originally I skim read and thought the mod was acknowledging it as the 1% bug, and didn't keep looking for evidence after that: I actually think the 1% bug is real but I haven't seen it so much lately, could be easily explained as the same.thing happening to other champs as what happened to Mephistopheles. But I also think that it should be easy to prove if it is debuffs expiring early, as I explained before I have seen the percentage bar lagging and I can promise you that if you did what I did and pause fights and quit there will often be a difference in percentage and if you quit on 1% while they are bleeding you exit the fight the champ will often be knocked out, try it before you disagree.this could be a factor.
technically since the numbers are rounded 1% displays for up to 1.499 % and so 1% is 50% more likely to occur than any other number. If I could post video on this forum I would keep recording, but I don't have YouTube and can't be bothered starting an account just to post video. And only ever access this from my phone, not a computer
