Help With Google 3A XL

I previously on a LG G7, now a Google 3A XL. On my LG I never went into special attacks while tapping basic. Now I am going into special attacks a lot more just tapping the Google. Anyone have any advice? I am almost worthless in war, trying to adjust the way I've tapped for 4 years now. "Previously owned a LG G3/G6 before 7."
