Is anyone else having issues downloading this mandatory update that dropped today?

I'm not posting this in the Bugs forum because I know it's not a game issue, but when I went to log on; I got the notification that I needed to download the update to play online. I went to do that and it's been "installing" for 2 hours off the Google Play Store. Is this just me because this is ticking me off and is getting me a bit worried because I haven't had a chance to pick up my login rewards yet.

I dont even have update in the game store are you from the future?
