Do I rank up my lousy 5*s

What is the general rule with 5*s, are they all worth ranking up? I now have red cyclops and iron patriot. I hate them both, but do I rank them up because they are 5*?

    No dont waste resources on them. Rank up ur 4*s for the meantime till u start pulling good 5*s

    I like to rank them up to rank 2 and throw them in the featured four star arena. Of course if u have a awesome 4 star that will help with content, that is priority

    ill take them to R2 only if i have t1a in the stash and wont see another crystal before they expire
