Whom Should I use my 5* Mutant Awakening Gem

Got a 5* Mutant Awakening Gem, so wondering should I use it on Omega Red or wait for some good Mutant champ in future , but honestly we all know all the champions that we get is not based on our hardwork but on Kabam's will and choice.

Also pls guide me about Omega Red, is he good as an attacker or defender??

    Omega Red is debatably the best mutant in the game, hes a fantastic attacker, amazing korg counter. Hes an above average defender on the right node. Great with suicides as well
