Tech Awakening Decision

Middle of the road pull for my 5* AG today - Mutant/Science/Mystic all had clear contenders for me that I'd have used without a second thought. Skill would've been rough because I already have one and noone currently to use it on while Cosmic and Tech I have a few options without too much clarity.
I pulled Tech so now need to decide on whom to use it.
Top contenders are right there - Sentinel, IMIW and Ghost. Star Lord is also in the mix as I know how good his potential is.
Sentinel is currently 4/55, is regularly in AW Defence but also take him questing when his heal block or immunities warrant it - of course he's also integral to Variant 3 which I will attempt...eventually...
IMIW is also used in war but I understand he's not such a big issue any longer.
Ghost I hear how amazing she is but I just can't get the playstyle down as yet - I'm clearly phasing with incorrect timing because I'm either attacking into blocks or getting intercepted a LOT. I have Wasp only at 5/50 but 5* Antman and Hood at 2/35 and 3/45 respectively.
Star Lord was a recent pull and is only at 2/35 but I know he has solid damage potential when awakened...but with Corvus, Hyperion and Ghost already there I don't think he's worth the gem.
Right now I'm thinking Ghost is the right choice but only my lack of skill with her is holding me back.
