Mephisto in EQ

So I’m fighting Mephisto in the EQ and I was using Red Hulk for the burn immunity, but Mephisto’s aura was still hurting Red Hulk is there something I’m missing?

It’s not perfect and you have to be awakened, at the Max charges of 10 you get the most resistance but it’s never 100% I believe

red hulk becomes fully immune when he has about 5 heat charges that's when he's fully immune to incinerate damage

Red hulk is not incinerate immune, he converts incinerates debuffs into charges, but Mephisto does not place debuffs for the damage.

I think its down the the difference of rulk not being incinerate immune but 'converts' it to charges, so might take an initial chip damage from it, unlike void or havok who are just outright immune, maybe like morningstar in map5 the +40% buff is added after the initial blocking of the damage?

The damage type itself is the same, but how they get the damage is not.. Grounded is correct. Aura does passive AOE damage, where as incinerate is a debuff. Red Hulk has only one thing for the aura, converting energy damage into heat charges, but with an incenerate debuff he can shrug it off.

In short, it is similar, but not the same.

I’m sure he need the dups and 10 heat chamge before he imuns to it but it mabye becasse the node make it more.

It happens once per fight. Lose the fight, he'll do it again the next fight. Solution: don't lose the fight.

Just Heal Block him. Petrify should work, in a pinch.

I generally use Vision for Mephisto when he's a boss.

Blade with danger sense
Any heal blocker timed right
Any incinerate immune

This boss isn't hard, my main issue is why is he boss rather than any of the new characters? This EQ is like the 4th in a row that is considered super easy by many.
