PHC Shards and Grandmaster Crystal

Hey mods,

With the introduction of the Grandmaster Crystal, what will become of our PHC shards? Will there be an opportunity to use PHC shards to obtain Grandmaster crystals? Or will units and 14-day calendar always be the only means of obtaining them?

Is an addition. It will not replace the current PHC.

I know it's a new crystal. I'm asking if there will be opportunity to use PHC shards to buy the new crystal. Similar to how the Uncollected Arena Crystal is in addition to the original Arena Crystal, but you use the same currency (Battlechips) to purchase both.

Those crystals themselves appear to be formed by a different kind of shards, so I don't think you can use PHC to purchase these

I do hope they will eventually replace PHCs though, because PHC drop rates could and should be much better than they currently are

Yeah that was my interpretation of the announcement as well, just hoping for a miracle because I've been stashing PHC shards haha. It would be amazing if you could purchase Grandmaster crystals for 10,000 PHC shards.
