Global node buffs

We run wars in tier 4 and are a plat4 alliance. I was curious what your thoughts were on why dodge is so popular (based on what I see in s12 wars) when there's only a 5% chance to trigger it...

..seems like there are other buff options that offer a more consistent damage return.
Thoughts?
