Question about inventory and sigil

I bought the sigil yesterday primarily so I could get the cheap feature crystal (it has a lot of champs in that I don't already have), typically I pulled another IF dupe 🤬
The sigil increases inventory and I've now got 19/19 t3b cats and extra health pots etc. once the sigil runs out, if I don't renew it do the extra items go back into my stash or would it say 19/15 in my inventory?
