Blocks Being Broken by Basic Attacks

After the latest update I’ve noticed my blocks will sometimes fail and I’ll get hit with a basic attack. At first I just thought I was mistiming my blocks but it’s happened so many times since then so I started recording my fights. Today in AW it happened again. See frame by frame photos below. I’ve also heard similar complaints from numerous alliance mates.

    Here’s a photo from the same fight. It’s the same frame by frame sequence but this time my block did NOT fail. If you look closely at where the defenders hands are in the first photo of the sequence you will notice that I actually started blocking EARLIER in the first post (where my block failed) than I did in this post. Even more reason to believe it wasn’t mistimed.

    I’ve noticed this too but it tends to be only against champs with energy based basic attacks so maybe it’s intended
