Gem rankup lv 3-4

Hi guys,
Im having 2 skill gem rankup 3-4.
They didnt show in separate items, they combine be 2/4 skill gem
They r
1 is from 100% act 5.
1 is from V3 for 2015/2016 champs

So my question is how can i distinguish between 2015/2016 gem n the og one?
Wanna use 2015/2016 for CB.

If a champ is 2016 you will just use that one anyway, the other won’t work, you have to be careful if you want to rank up a 2015 champ though that you don’t use the 2016 gem
