So while in Hellfire mode, it says deal direct energy damage of X amount. Sometimes this is lower than what is stated. Anyone know why?

Maybe class relationships affect it too? Is it Mystic based? If so, it deals less damage to Science champions and increased damage to Cosmic champs.
If that’s not the case, than just energy resistance, yes

Claire is enough for me lol

Putting that aside, it’s armor rate the champs originally has (unless you are hawkeye or black panther civil war etc), and the energy resistance they might have got from mastery

Try using loki sp2 when you have higher health. The energy damage is always not as high as stated due to the same reason
