55k Maximum Dungeon Currency - why?

Hopefully a mod will unmute this discussion so more can know/participate on this topic as all of my posts are only visible to mods.

Why is there a 55k Dungeon currency maximum?
Why is there no overflow for this?
Why is there no warning for when you go over the maximum?
