Questions on Corvus

Just pulled Corvus and started playing him, couple questions on him.

Does his Challenge Defenses mission apply as soon as he completes it, or on the next fight?

Is his first light attack unable to crit while he has glaive charges? (his only non-glaive attack)

Since he already deals true damage, does armor break affect his damage at all, or is it just to boost his specials?

And I'm guessing I should be building suicides for him, right?

Yes. But it cannot end the fight to gain the mission.

Armor break needs to overcome the enemies armor rating to increase damage and even then it isn’t really worth playing for. It’s more about utility for KM, IMIW and the like; then situations it will increase damage against champs with lots of armor buffs like howard the duck and Red Skull.

Gains a ton from suicides.

Challenge defences applies the second they’re knocked down as long as you don’t kill them with that knockdown

Armour break is more for utility

First light can’t crit no matter what

Yes definitely look into suicides, he heals from the bleed and doesn’t lose that much from having recoil as a lot of enemies die on the 1st s2 and if they don’t they almost always will on the second

He just sits at 1 health, NOTHING can kill him whatsoever as long as he has charges

Yes true damage ignores armor but armor break needs to reduce their armor rating into the negatives to increase damage taken and even then the number of ABs you can apply with corvus do not reduce armor by enough of a significant amount to play for them.

As long as he has glaive charges he will not die but will still take damage from dots leaving him vulnerable to death when those charges are used up.
