Map 7 Vivified Bugged ... Again

Apologies if there is an existing thread. It’s hard to keep up because Vivified has been a long-standing problem.

Map 7 Today. Vivified path. Used Doc Ock for power lock, because we were told that would work.

Can anyone respond? I would like to know if/when it is safe to rely on Doc Ock's power lock for Vivified paths in the future.

Hey there, this would be because your Doc Ock is awakened. His signature ability replaces the Power Lock on his Physics Breakthrough with a Power Drain/Steal, which would be stopped by Vivified. The team will be working on updating the icon that appears for the awakened version to make this more clear during the fight.

@Kabam Zibiit Thank you for the insightful response!!!! I very much appreciate it. It is unfortunate that Doc Ock's awakened ability removes some of his utility in this case. It doesn't make complete sense, because I feel like the sig ability can be considered to BOTH power lock and power drain/steal. Perhaps it would be better on this node if awakened Doc Ock could power lock but not drain/steal. Kind of like how Magik's SP2 would power lock but not take any power away. That's just my 2 cents

On the other hand, while it's better here, it would make him much weaker against Havok, since that power drain resets the charges while a power lock speeds them up.
