Bug fix for fights refreshing; arena reset?

So this bug and emergency maintenance has been going on for a while now. We are all missing out on valuable arena grinding time. I think the arena should be reset and give us all another chance at the current champs.
Currently, I was just able to log into the game but it still refreshes and loses the fight win. So win streak has reset to 0!
Can anyone please say why a game will be running fine, as it was 10 hours ago when I went to bed, to come back and have bugs this big?? How does a bug just occur randomly??
