Alliance coup d'etat

Dear Kabam - Our fearless leader is leading our alliance as well as an apathetic sloth. We would love to see the functionality implemented to allow the officers to hold a vote to aggressively overthrow the leader. Any way you guys could work on this?

Could you all not leave start a new alliance? Might take a few weeks to get where you were at in terms of prestige etc but for peace of mind may be worth it

The "resistance" might be worried about all that gold and such that was donated to the treasury. In any case, they could simply wait until the treasury was depleted before running to the hills.

In one of my old alliances, a "rebel leader" was dissatisfied with the current leadership. He stole the facebook page of the alliance and formed his own alliance. One of the things the rebel like to say when he was still with us was that we as a group boycotted the arena because of the pym canisters. He lied. At least 8 of us won heroes from the arenas. And the only reason that he "boycotted" was because he was on a plane traveling to another country on holiday. He couldn't play the arenas anyway.

The point is that you can't trust the rebels. I can see rebels and their alts staging a takeover if the other alliance members aren't paying attention to the voting.

Voting an active leader out is prime for abuse. It is safer just to let people deplete the treasury and then move on. Or just move on and skip the waiting.

Now if the leader has gone missing for, let's say, 21 days then MCOC should follow the lead of other games (like Castlot) and allow the leadership to change. In Castlot, a player can put his name on the "ballot" for 30 units. And there can be only one. If nobody objects, he becomes new leader.

Otherwise, the only option is for officers to submit a ticket which is what I had to do in a Star Wars game.

How many you got? Could just join another alliance with the core of your skilled and unsatisfied players. Heck my alliance is trying to find a replacement for almost an entire BG so I'm sure there are places out there that are strong (like my alliance) but have plenty of room if someone needed
