I thought passive debuffs bypass immunities

I thought that passive debuffs are meant to bypass immunities hence why they are passive. This certainly is the case when they are inflicted upon us as attackers so why is wasp getting nerfed?

btw, a passive and a debuff, are recognised as 2 different things.

Wasp can stun debuff immune champs with her ability but can't stun stun immune.

Pretty sure that's what he is complaining about

Passive debuffs don't exist. Either they are passive abilities, or active abilities (aka debuffs).
Immunity to the effect provides both immunity to the passive and debuff. Some champions are only immune to the debuff part, others aren't immune but use it to their benefit
