Is Domino worth awakening?

I recently pulled a 5* Domino (yay!), And want to know if her awakened ability benefits her that much. I have a mutant awakening gem, but I'm holding out on using it for now. Any suggestions? She's still at R1, but can go straight to R3.

Hold out. Save for Omega AA (Or Namor or Havok I think). Domino is perfectly fine without it; it only gives defensive utility, but nothing that helps for offense. I have my Dom unduped at 4/55

Forgot to mention that I have a 4* AA R5 duped. Thanks for the advice though!

to be fair it gives her damage when an ability fails, it does nothing for defensive utility.

to be fair it gives her damage when an ability fails, it does nothing for defensive utility.

I think what he means is that Dominos sig only really helps when she is placed as a defender and not really when brought as an attacker.

It doesn’t help on offense because the damage is low compared to your enemies with a much larger health pool, but on defense, it makes her a pain because you can die even while playing otherwise perfectly. It only gives her defensive utility.

1500 when an ability fails triggers is about 5% of a non suicides 5* rank 5, that is nothing to sneeze at. it deteriorates, but still, that is some pretty good damage. On defense you can mostly avoid that damage by bringing tech champs that dont have a ton of triggers.

I play domino Unawakened and awaken 5* i think her ability give her a lot so if r5 Yes worth

For domino that damage is nothing, it’s basically a medium attack, and on defence there aren’t many champs who can truly avoid it, only 1 I can think of off the top of my head is mysterio because he’s aar immune and has nothing that can fail at the base, it’s 99% a defensive sig

nah, she's good without it. I'd say her sig ability is more for defense

If you want her for defense and you really want that extra boost, go for it. If not, save it.
