Help! Variant 1 - 2.3 GG Aggression Regen

Who here was able to get pass GG without Spark? Who are viable options in this roster? I have a hard time baiting his specials which is why his regen stacks up so much...any tips for that? are there other options that have taunt? or better options for constant power drain?

Doc Oc. Tried to use heal block, but then just ended up using infinite power lock and keep him in the corner. Long fight, but doable.

Yes I've thought of this as an option. but that mordo with kinetic also normally gets my doc ock down or very low on hp at this point. and being only r3 GG still gets a chunk of doc ock's hp even through blocks.

I might try bringing in guillotine w MS synergy and see if she can dispatch of GG easier. but this will take 2 spots.

Is that a R2 6* Sentinel up top? If so couldn't he just heal block with sp1 spam or paired with despair stifle the regen with sp2 incinerate spam?

Edit: looking at pun99 PI I'm guessing just R1 Sentinel, but concept would be the same just slower.

Those are r2. I just maxed despair after the war season ended. yet to try him out with max despair. Thanks for the suggestion.

Oh, and pun99 was a rankup for def if that bothers anyone.

That Sentinel is definitely the way to go with the sp1 heal block. Since he’s not duped, hit into GG’s block a few times whenever you have the chance to build the analysis charges faster and get that extra debuff duration at 100 charges to help keep heal block up longer.

If that Voodoo was duped, he’s a personal favorite of mine against GG. Heal reduction from the poisons(even better if you also have despair) and the extra energy resist while blocking helps minimize block damage from his sp1.

Iron Man Infinity War. Sp1 heal block is much easier to cycle compared to an unduped Sentinel. By the time you reach 100 analysis, his regen stacks might be too much for you to handle.

That’s a fair point that IMIW is easier to cycle because of the longer duration. The part about too many regen stacks after getting unduped Sentinel to 100 charges doesn’t matter though, heal block blocks healing regardless of how many stacks of regen there are and Sentinel’s able to keep 100% uptime on the heal block at 100 charges. I’d still say Sentinel is the better option in this case due to OP’s current rank of each character.

thanks for the help guys. i just powered through with complete boosts and a team revive. yondu and pun2099 took a big chunk of his hp. and the remaining 16% was for sentinel playing normally at the start so as not let gg heal back to full.
