Mutant 2015 rank up gem

Hi Kabam,
I just 100% explored Variant 2.2 and opened the rank up gem that comes with that. I got the 2015 mutant gem. Only to find out that it only works on about 7 champions, 4 of whom are either a magneto or a cyclops. I've already ranked up the only person I'd have used it on (Colossus). The 2015 gems generally have limited pools, but I feel like the mutant pool is spectacularly so.
Is there any way to get a trade in crystal or something for a 2015 rank up gem that can offer a different class?

I was going to use my 2015 gem on Magneto. But then I pulled him as a 6* (nearly pulled my hair out when that happened). Now I’m stuck with 2 mutant 2015 gems. Hopefully they’ll release a 5* wolvie one day
