New event quest bugged?

the IMIW boss is I think broken. whenever I used my Corvus to armour break his explosive personality armour up buffs he placed a power lock on me. the node said that it would place a power lock if any buffs were nullified but armour breaking an armour up shouldn't work that way. also seperate question why doesn't Corvus remove every armour up from the aggression armour node? as I remember he used to be able to. was that a silent nerf?
