I had the same question. He's still pretty good, but most people told me that he's useful for content you've already finished. I suggest watching Seatin's video using a 5* unawakened Cull. Hope this helped!

He's a solid champ but I'd hold off on ranking him up till after his nerf to see how he is post nerf first

He’s ok but his block proficiency is horrible, probably one of the worst in game. To add to that his play style is pretty much based around heavy attacks. For most people that means parrying and massive block damage. It takes quite a while to ramp him up too. He has no immunities. When ramped up, say 2-3 fights his damage is crazy but you pretty much have to take a heimdall/Thor team with you to regen every fight or stick potions into him constantly to take on any high health opponents / end game type questing. I’ve got him maxed but rarely use him as there are big damage dealers in my roster who are way less hassle to use..like starlord for eg

I have a 5/50 cull and when ramped up hes an absolute monster. However he is fragile.... Kind of maxes out at the uc eq level anything beyond that and hes not durable enough and to use him in 3rd chapter of uc eq u have to play good not getting touched much but thats not too hard to do bc he can really end a fight fast.

With vtd he’s super versatile once you get used to his ramp up. For me a maxed 4* can run through map4/5 AQ ending at full health leaving me two team members for specific nodes or mini boss/boss kills.

He is epic against high armour champs and nodes and with DW mastery especially has good bleeds or degen against bleed immune champs.

A 4* maxed is also very useful in variant 2 as an XL bleed champ.
