Stealing evade buff

Fought an unawakened 4* Nightcrawler in Arena. I was on Loki and stole NC's evade buff (first time encountering this).

So, how to use the evade buff?

Not sure if you can use it. I think it only increases the chance of an existing auto-evade.

It works as far as I know. It's just the evade is not 100%. Like you can take Spiderman Symbiotes evade and it lets you evade things while it is active.
