What does it take to beat Silver Surfer?

So I knock him down with a heavy and immediately use my special 3....but his health never goes below 1% and when its over he's healed. I keep doing this over and over. What am I missing?

Are you throwing the Sp3 mid-heavy? Cause if you are, you haven't knocked him down and he'll still heal.

You have to wait a second after the heavy for the shield to turn grey

Pretty much, wait until the shield turns grey then launch it

the shield is BLUE, knock him down with a heavy attack and that shield will turn GREY and then sp2 or 3

Somehow I got him with Void. Voids debuffs must be working while the shield is down
