Why CAPIW’s Petrify is not working for power gain

Guys, in Trial of Reed Richards (Uncollected) Chapter - 3 Restitution, the petrify debuff does not appear while fighting any champs on Ronin's path along with Ghost Rider Green Goblin but instead i see Weakness debuff. Is this something usual or a bug. I have a 4* R5 Sig 30 Cap IW.

Sig 30 less likely inflict debuffs man. He needs max sig ability to fulfill his potential.

Hi, I noticed yesterday too with the DS in Variant 4 (deadpool X chapter). I had to use Sparky with taunt in the end.

Sorry to resurrect this thread. But I was using capiw against dr strange in variant 3.2.2 and his petrify wasn’t slowing the power gain. Mods said they’d update this thread when they had news on it. But don’t see anything new.

Is there any news on if this is correct or bugged?

Doesn’t that chapter have improved power gain?
Meaning potency is increased by x% so reaching 100% reduction in power gain leave the x% extra potency

For example hype with 50% improved power gain will require
FOTV and a petrify from void to cancel The power gain
6 petrify from CAPIW to cancel
LC will also require 6 exhaustion’s

Petrify champs aren’t recommended for that path
Doc oc is best since he has automatic power lock
