One star colossus passives

Why is one star colossus not immune to the same things as 2,3,4,5*. I see this as a loss to us. We’re forced to use 1* in this new varient, we go in “knowing” their abilities which is why I used colossus on iceman but it was a bust cause he isn’t immune to the same things as the other level stars. If this is intentional then shame on you if not I would like some of my units back that I spent fighting mephisto and iceman
