1* Quest Variant 4 not really a moan about the lack of them

Like the title said this is not me moaning about the lack of 1* champs. I've been here since the beginning and as far as I'm aware I've got every 1* that has been available in the basic old days.

But these nodes are so dumb.
Bleed vulnerability + biohazard...
So use BP and die to debuffs or use vision for the entire path and don't get bleeds...
Then obviously the caustic temper. Yes I have Hulk but I have to use him for the whole path...
Not saying its impossible or anything. Apart from this bit, this new variant has been massively fun to play through. But this 1* Quest is dragging and boring as hell.
Just feels to me that given the pool of 1*s available they were not thought out at all.

I just finished these 2 paths; 1-star, biohazard and caustic temper, and I have to say they suck.
As you mentioned biohazard is possible with wolverine or BP, but you need to get somewhat lucky with RNG, causing bleeds and avoiding poison.
I was fortunate enough to have Hulk, even then, the design sucks. I'm fairly certain it's impossible to not die to Majik's limbo without luck of not triggering. Then you have to fight Mordo, 3 times! which again relies on RNG, of getting a fury and him not turtleing up.

Anyways, I'm 100% now and from my point-of-view those 2 paths are badly designed.

I've not done those two paths yet. I have 3 paths left to do in that one star quest. Like you say I think it's just bad design. I've done every path of every chapter almost item free. (did mess up on deadpool a few times)

Now I'm waiting for gifting event so I can trade some refills and get these 3 paths done. But I already did some test fights and just know they are going to drag and drag.

I feel like you see it as long just because the numbers are a lot slower. If it was a billion health fight with Summoned Symbiote and the critical bleed boost, it would feel much faster. I feel like it’s just the tiny numbers that irl people about it. Also it’s variant, so they have to make it sort of challenging ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Not saying it’s not bad, but it could be due to perspective.

It’s not bad at all. Sure, it’s a little annoying with useless nodes. But this compared to 3.2 of any other Variant is literally 10x’s easier. It 100x’s easier than V1 3.2.

So stop whining, this is literally the easiest content they have EVER released for these rewards. All of 3.2 took me maybe 4-5 revives and a handful of L1 potions. All those revives were used on Mordo, the only hard fight in all of 3.2

They are not the greatest nodes due to the lack of diversity of champs in the 1* pool. However, they will release the Collector Crystals with the 1* champs again (hopefully for the 1-on-1 arenas like they did several months back). I really want a 1* Wolverine to complete my collection. I got IM and can only get Wolverine via that crystal.
