Better at what exactly? Each have massive differences and better uses than the other. Both are great

Hyperion is a beast in attack or defense while gp is only good in atk. also, although they are both nearly God -tier champions, Hyperion is the only cosmic champ who comes close while gp can be switched out with crossbones or bw as very good alternatives...Hyperion takes a more strategic play style but his immunities make him the much more versatile champ and is ideal in more situations, lastly, his power gain is second to none and in any fight where you'd have to beware your opponent unleashing their specials he can hold back, gain power, do massive damage while your opponent remains gaining no power..i could go on, but basically Hyperion is the only champ besides ghost rider
(That I can think of, please let me know if I'm mistaken) that can control your opponent in so many different situations..

I'm working on taking both to R5 now. I prefer GP's fighting style but like doobs said above, Hype is more versatile.
