As tempting as it can be for a new player, don't spend units on crystals until you get your core masteries in place. And after you do all that....don't buy crystals.

Unless of course, you have limitless income and need something to spend money on.

Never ever, ever, ever........ ever sell champs, it takes a while but maxing the sig level of your low level champs will get you higher star champs in the end

Start grinding arenas once you start hitting those rank rewards

Don't sell any champs, get some advice on masteries they'd will help you later, don't spend gold or units on crystals unless you have thou sands of units and can afford a dabble in one.

Do the lower arenas initially and the weekend 2* arena to build a 2* roster, then with that's try and get 250k points in the 2* arena, that will get you a few crystals and more importantly 3* shards.
