When to focus on ranking 5* champs instead of 4*

I’m currently working on 5.1.2. and at this point have acquired several quality 5* champs, but my maxed out 4* studs are who I’m still exclusively using. I have more elite 4* champs I could work on ranking up or should I focus on my better 5* champs? I guess I’m wondering when to turn my focus on ranking up 5*s and leave the 4*s behind…if at all.

    What i am doing is to get some 4*s as r5 who r needed to counter some nodes or champs, so that i can play almost all contents (not endgame), then focus on r4 in 5*s...

    like I recently upgraded 4* medusa to control the drones & sentinels in AQ, even though i have vtd, hype, cmm as high damage dealer 5*

    Thats a great roster if you have wasp and/or hood for the synergy you should rank up ghost

    Ghost, Stark spidey, Medusa & Omega Red should all be ranked to 5/65 they’re each game changing champions.
