new abilities for 2019 champions

To be clear, a good chunk of these champs are decent, but if they're on this list, it's because I and a good portion of the player base feel like they are missing something. Although I'm aware kabam probably won't use most of these ideas, I do hope that if this does gain traction and they do see it, they at least take some small part of it. Without further ado, here we go!

January - Diablo
Diablo's main mechanic are his potions, which are exhausted over the quest, him being one of the only champions that gets worse via his persistent charges. For him, I would add a new mechanic that benefits him based on the number of potions he has used (Lingering buffs). "Although Diablo may be a master alchemist, brewing and consuming potions on the fly causes some... unforeseen after effects". Each time diablo activates one of his potions, upon the expiry of the potion effects he keeps a scaled down version of the buff that persists between fights
Emberboon - Every potion consumed grants Diablo a persistent lingering buff granting 10 percent energy damage dealt on every hit (max 4)

Lifestitch - Every potion consumed grants Diablo a persistent 2.5% max health regen buff that activates at the start of the fight and lasts 5 seconds (maximum 4)

Ironskin - Every potion consumed grants Diablo a persistent fury increasing attack by 12.5% (max 4)

Counterflow - Every potion consumed grants Diablo a persistent buff that allows his hits on the opponent to generate 5% less power (max 4)

Other than that, his abilities would stay the same.

February - Mister Sinister
While Mister Sinister is decent on defense, he's somewhat lackluster on offense. Let's change that. First of all, his awakened ability will now be a regular ability that can be accessed unawakened, let's also change the bonuses based on class.

Mutant - Mister Sinister has experience with mutants that don't see the value in joining his cause, and so he has altered his biology on a molecular level, allowing himself to be completely immune to any damaging debuff while against a mutant.

Skill - Nathaniel Essex seeks to bring out the power in a regular individual, subjecting them to immense pain in an attempt to reveal a mutation, sadly, this rarely works (Critical hits place a degeneration debuff on the opponent dealing 30% of the damage dealt to the opponent through degeneration over 1 second).

Science - "Look at how all of these scientists have defamed my advancements! I shall have my vengeance". Mister Sinister gains a true strike buff when fighting science champions, to avoid the possibility of any of those so called "scientists" escaping his vengeance!

Mystic - "These sorcerers feed off of my advantages, so I shall turn that into their downfall". Mister Sinister utilizes his hyper intelligent mind to overcome the defensive abilities of a mystic champion, lowering their defensive ability accuracy by 10% for each buff he has.

Cosmic - "An interplanetary being... How fascinating... I'll have to conduct some experiments!". Upon ending a combo with a light attack, Mister Sinister has a 30% chance to steal a buff from the opponent, though the replication process reduces the effectiveness off the buff by 70%.

To top this off, Mister Sinister's new signature ability would be for every new class of champion he defeats (excluding tech), he gains a persistent fury buff granting a 10% attack increase (max 5).

April - Annihilus is already getting buffed by Kabam so we'll see what they do

May - Ronin and Ebony Maw

Ronin's buff would be relatively simple, his mega precision that you get upon reaching 7 stacks would last the whole fight and his bleeds would deal 50% of his base attack over 7 seconds.

Ebony Maw's buff would be more complicated, but Kabam is buffing him in the near future, and I'm in no way qualified to even begin thinking about what to do about him.

July - Mysterio

Mysterio would be relatively easy, I would suggest that for every chemical gas passive Mysterio ends the fight with, he instantly gains 50% of a bar of power upon entering the next fight. This would make it so if you finish a fight with 3 stacks of gas, you would begin the next fight with 1 and a half bars of power and would be able to reach 3 stacks of gas just in time to launch a special 3. This would negate that downtime at the beginning of the fight that Mysterio players hate where the damage sucks. The cherry on top would be (as Seatin suggested), if the opponent is Immune to Posion, Mysterio instead inflicts a degeneration debuff, dealing 30% less damage.

September - Vison Aarkus

Easy, let him keep the ability to apply up to 2 armor shatters lmao. It doesn't make him game breaking, so just let him keep the bug ffs.

October - Man Thing
Just make his damage better
For every Agitation passive Man thing gains, his attack goes up by 30 (maximum 100 stacks).

December - Silver Surfer

Just make him bleed and poison immune. Damage is already close to/on par with stark spidey if you guys look at base damage plus bonus energy damage. He hits decently hard.

Anyways, this took a long time to make haha. I apologise if any of these buffs seem strange/stupid I'm a bit tired. I would love to hear your opinions on this so we can talk about what else can be changed so please, leave a comment!
