NIck Fury/Quake Synergy

How is it i'm getting hit using this synergy while there are still evade charges? It says 100% chance to evade unblocked hits

Did you attempt to evade and get hit? Did you mistime a parry? Did they have true strike? Were you using a spiderverse champ against venom?
