How to beat Korg in Variant 1?

I’ve got 3 paths left in Variant 1. Unfortunately all 3 are in 3.3, including the 15% buffet Korg.
I’m thinking of taking off dex and using Cap Beardo (5* R5), but before I do that I wanted to ask which champs or strategy every1 used to beat this Korg.

I used cap with def off, best option by far is torch though, void can get though it if you can light intercept but it’s long and hard, quake could also do it if you’re skilled with her

I have Torch as a 3*, thinking that might not be enough for that fight 😉
Void is at rank 3 and unawakened. Now I can use a generic ag and some 60 sig stones as well as take him to rank 5, but I’m a bit reluctant to do that (seeing as it’s my last generic 5* ag).
Hype is also at rank 5, so I’ll bring him along as well. Since he has plenty of buffs I just thought he wouldn’t be an option 🤔.
Quake is off the table, even if I had a 5* rank 5 version of her (which I don’t), I just suck at playing Quake.

You can also use Thing+Champion. Thing is immune to nullify, so Korg won't get any healing from buffet. With the champion synergy, you've also got some indestructible to counter the Korg's thorns while getting massive fury boosts.
